We are a 20+ team consisting of strategy consultants, data scientists and software developers. We love cargo. We want to build things that matter for airlines and airports.
That said, we’re also a team of real people who like to have fun, and like to obsess about our coffee, our bikes, our hikes, our food and drinks. We’re based in the Netherlands but travel the world and love the diversity of working in multiple cultures.

Co-founderGert-Jan previously co-founded and led Seabury Cargo and WorldACD, leading strategy consulting and data firms in air cargo. This time around, Gert-Jan is keen to create a similar opportunity for others to write their own story. He is passionate about air cargo, and quite simply enjoys solving complex problems.

CEO & Co-founderRyan grew from Analyst to Managing Director at Seabury Cargo (then Accenture), having led 50+ strategy consulting projects in air cargo covering 30+ countries. He is now keen to build things that matter for airlines. An American living in the Netherlands, he quickly picked up on the cycling, but not so much on Dutch food.
Fabien Balouzet
ProductFabien loves anything that enables things/people to travel and he has a particular passion for air cargo. As Head of Product, he leverages 14 years of experience with cargo airlines and forwarders in Operations, Revenue Management and Sales. Fabien strives to build technology that users adopt with confidence, enabling them to easily reach their goals.

EngineeringAfter being a successful tech entrepreneur whilst also leading cross-functional teams at big corporations, Lauren is keen to build from scratch and lead our big decisions on tech stack. He enjoys building a development culture that will attract and retain the best. He is keen to travel and co-develop with airlines.
Jonathan Mellink
Sales and MarketingJonathan is our Head of Sales and Marketing. Starting as a data engineer at Seabury Cargo and having worked in operations at Flexport, he developed a passion for talking to clients about anything cargo. Leveraging his analytics and industry background proves valuable when designing new products together with clients.
Elham Moghaddami
Front-endElham is a front-end engineer at Rotate. She studied Software Engineering and worked for 8 years in Iran before taking her skills and experience abroad. Elham is crazy about flowers and tulip farms are her favorite thing in the Netherlands. When she's not working, she's either reading novels, cooking, exercising or watching movies.

Customer SuccessLars loves to work with our clients to ensure they get the most from our products, meanwhile traveling the world and diving into local culture. Starting as a data engineer, he later managed a team of developers to build SaaS products, before finally finding his home in customer success.
Hans Adriaans
EngineeringBreaking complex problems into small understandable pieces is what Hans loves to do. Hans has been in engineering in different roles and companies for about 15 years and joined the Rotate team as the Lead Data Engineer. In his spare time he enjoys traveling, fine beers and playing water polo with his friends from studying in Utrecht.

A self-professed Anglophile and a sports enthusiast, Tim enriches our team with banter and (quite often useless) sports statistics.

AnalyticsBoasting degrees in both Physics and Leadership, Karel combines wide knowledge with detailed problem solving skills. Defined by curiosity, he is a system thinker and his proficiency in technical and social systems helps create our state-of-the art solutions. Strategy ConsultingFelice studied Aerospace Engineering at TU Delft and previously led teams in the development of the world’s first liquid hydrogen aircraft at AeroDelft. He is now eager to become a strong link between our clients and our analytics teams. Flying gliders and wild camping are his favorite activities.

Combining analytics with a passion for pushing his boundaries (in Ironman triathlons and international rowing), he aims to bring a unique perspective to solving complex problems faced by airlines.

ProductKenny leads our Asia office in Kuala Lumpur. Starting as an analyst at Seabury Cargo, he led the development of SaaS products, focusing on fleet, network and O&D mix optimization. An avid runner, you can usually find him running around KL in the super early mornings or getting lost while hiking.

AnalyticsAs a bioinformatics student turned data science enthusiast, Radeen dives into the intricacies of data to unravel insight into the realm of air cargo at Rotate. Outside of his computational pursuits, you'll find him doing outdoor activities with his dog, engaging in fitness routines, and exploring the realms of IT and computers.

EngineeringJamie is a Cloud Platform Engineer at Rotate Asia. She likes to build and deliver something new or design better solutions from scratch using her Cloud Infrastructure management and DevSecOps skills. She likes to travel and "food-hunt" to meet different cultures, heritages, and stories. Cooking time is her "me time".

Additionally, he is a dedicated food enthusiast, planning to launch a subscription service for his curated Google Maps food collection in Kuala Lumpur.
Edmond Teh Ming
EngineeringEdmond is a Senior Software Engineer based in our Kuala Lumpur office, where he leads a talented team of developers. With extensive experience in full-stack development, he has successfully led several government projects before joining Rotate. Edmond now focuses on developing and architecting back-end services and integrating Sales Cockpit with Salesforce. Outside of work, he enjoys relaxing with Chinese tea.

Our office in Utrecht
We have chosen to be based in Utrecht, a beautiful 900-year-old (student-)city, and the fourth largest city in the Netherlands. It is packed with creativity and is an ideal location for tech-talent. Our office facilitates creativity while also providing plenty of happy hour locations nearby. It’s only 27 minutes from Schiphol by train.
